Please note: If you want the Medical Plan please enroll online and do not wait to be default enrolled.
All students who are enrolled by default will not receive Medical Cards until October and they will automatically be sent to the billing address on file.
To Enroll please visit Aetna Student Health and complete the online enrollment form. Please be sure to supply your local address where you want your insurance card mailed. www.aetnastudenthealth.com
Eligible CUA students who have previously waived the CUA Student Medical Insurance Plan, but now have a need to enroll in the CUA Student Medical Insurance Plan may do so by sending an email message to the CUA Student Medical Plan Administrator . In the message the student needs to include name, address, student ID#, date of birth, gender and the reason for the change. The Administrator's address is cua-studentmedins@cua.edu
Students who neither enrolled nor waived the CUA Student Medical Insurance prior to the waiver deadline date will be enrolled by default and will receive an insurance card from Aetna. The premium for this insurance will be charged to the student's student account.
Enrollment for Dependent Coverage
Students participating in the CUA Student Medical Insurance Plan may enroll their spouses and/or dependent children in the CUA Student Health Insurance program. Enrollment for dependents is accomplished by direct application to Aetna Student Health after the student has enrolled him/herself through the University. Download the Dependent Health Insurance Enrollment Form at www.aetnastudenthealth.com . The completed form is mailed to the Aetna Student Health together with premium payment.
