Insurance Policy Review for International Students with Alternative Health Insurance

Once international students complete their online waiver, they are instructed to bring a copy of their alternative health insurance policies to CUA Student Medical Insurance Administrator. In order for international students to complete the waiver process, they must provide a copy of the benefits provided by their alternative health insurance policy to the CUA Student Medical Insurance Plan Administrator for review. He/She will check to see that the alternative health insurance policy meets all federal government requirements and that both repatriation and evacuation are covered. A copy of the alternative health insurance policy benefits, written in English, and the corresponding insurance card are required for this review. If you do not have a copy of your benefits, you should request a copy from the agent who provided you the policy. Website descriptions of benefits may be used for this review as long as you present your health insurance ID Card.
